Jessica Ennis, one of Sheffield's finest sporting exports delivered a superb performance at the 12th Annual IAAF World Athletics Championships in Berlin winning the gold medal in the women's Heptathlon with 6731 points.

I for one would like to congratulate her on a great achievement. Jess, you are a credit to your country and you insipre others. Watching the event as it unfolded over the weekend was wonderful and to see you winning was fantastic. Well done. See my Jess Ennis page.
