The software also allows operators to record any events involving machinery on the shop floor. Downtimes, mantenance, cleaning schedules and procedures can all be recorded on the handheld devices and the resultant data is collated and analysed to provide your OEE percentage. Breakdowns of the reasons for downtime over a period of time will allow you to focus on any events which are taking longer than expected as well as highlighting problem areas and procedures. When this data is generated and displayed for a range of dates these problems which are often invisible in the day to day operations become immediately apparent.
